This is an excellent article reducing the objections of context-free fundamentalists to absurdity. However, you might want to check the context of your first reference. Luke 1:15 refers to John the Baptist, the last Nazirite. (Maybe your are intentionally mis-applying it to Jesus as a joke.)

Hey, brother. Wow, I re-read it. Powerful. To know who we are in Christ Jesus, which defines us as born-again believers and not just that, but being a Bible “Liver” (living the gospel, not just believing) and a wonderful love story. I cannot comprehend God’s love or really define it without God’s word. “In the beginning…” is a part of the central theme, I think. Some might call this story “deep.” It is a literal love story. I want to come back to it again. Thank you, Jon.

For the record, and I’ve stated it elsewhere, I *loathe* Fox News. They are not a news station, they’re a political puppet espousing false information in the name of news.

The only decline is in the heads in the sand of idiots like Jon Cuckoo and the rest of the media pushing the christian dominionism agenda.

I’m sure many in historical Rome (and other countries) have said similar. History repeats itself. No where on my site do I push a “dominionism agenda”. That is a theology espoused by many Christians (primarily those that belong to mega-churches preaching a prosperity gospel).

There has to be a decline so that there is a negative force, or devil, causing it, so that there can be a God who killed his son to save them.

There is a decline regardless of what you choose to attribute it to & I don’t use bad things to justify the existence of God. Regardless of religious perspectives, there is a decline. Then again, maybe it has always been corrupt and the modern information age makes it more visible.

I don’t have any problem with criticisms, but at least give the common courtesy of knowing my position and quoting it before blathering away in a post. It’s debate 101.

Globe Telecom engages in a scam! The Senate should investigate this ploy.

In a period of one year (I rotate usage between Globe, Sun and Smart), Globe deducts more value from my load but I can never get registered to the supersurf promo.

Globe is too greedy and preys on unsuspecting Pinoys who don’t understand the math involved.
